Schlotzsky’s and Auntie Anne’s Partner This Fall to Create Savory Pretzel Dipper Sandwiches with Signature Sauces

ATLANTA (September 24, 2015) – Schlotzsky’s®, home of The Original® oven-baked sandwich and famous Fresh-from-Scratch® buns, has partnered with Auntie Anne’s®, the world’s largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise, to create four limited-time only sandwiches on fresh-baked Soft Pretzel Rolls paired with signature sauces – aptly named, Pretzel Dippers.

This first-time partnership with Auntie Anne’s combines the best of both brands for hot, fall sandwiches crafted to perfection in four distinct offerings that are sure to appeal to everyone’s senses. Pretzel Dippers, available at all Schlotzsky’s restaurants from September 28 to December 27, feature Schlotzsky’s fresh meats, cheeses and other ingredients atop Auntie Anne’s pretzel buns, served alongside signature dipping sauces.

The four signature Pretzel Dippers include:

  • The Beef Chief – Shaved Angus roast beef topped with a trio of melted Muenster, Provolone and Swiss Cheeses and rich, caramelized onions – served oven-baked on a Soft Pretzel Roll with French Onion au jus dipping sauce.
  • The Hogfather – Sweet Italian Sausage, Piquant Pepperoni, Cotto and Genoa Salami topped with melted Muenster, Swiss and Provolone cheeses – served oven-baked on a Soft Pretzel Roll with Bold Marinara dipping sauce.
  • The Big Cheese – Four Cheeses – melted Muenster, Parmesan, Provolone and Swiss – layered with crisp, smoked bacon strips and vine-ripe tomatoes – served oven-baked on a Soft Pretzel Roll with Tomato-Basil dipping sauce.
  • The Ham Dunk – Shaved Black Forest Ham topped with melted Muenster, Provolone and Swiss cheeses – served oven-baked on a Soft Pretzel Roll with Brewhaus Cheese dipping sauce.

“We are excited to debut the signature Pretzel Dippers this month, and know both our guests and Auntie Anne’s customers will be eager to try all four sandwiches and sauces, too,” said Schlotzsky’s President Kelly Roddy. “This limited-time offer is sure to deliver a savory treat perfect for everyone’s next visit to their local Schlotzsky’s restaurant.”

  1. It really, Really, REALLY sucks that these sandwiches are no longer available.

I’ve been eating at Schlotzsky’s since I was 14. And after having these sandwiches, I can’t go back to turkey bacon clubs on sour dough.

You lost me as a customer. Make these sandwiches a regular fixture on the menu and you got me back.

    So long for now, Schlotzsky’s.

    Very disappointed and hungry customer,
    Jake M.
